1. From New York City:  Take 87 north to the exit for Champlain and Rouses Point. Turn right on 11 and continue to Rouses Point.  When you come to the lake turn left and continue through the village of Rouses Point.  Turn right at the Vermont Bridge and cross the lake to Vermont.


2. You will then be on Route 2.  Continue on Route 2 to the village of Alburgh.


3. Go through Alburgh.  Once you are through the village there will be a fork in the road.  Route 2 will bear to your left.  Another road will bear to the right and is parallel to the lake.  Take that road along the lake.  Go for 4.5 miles to the Isle La Motte Causeway.


4.  When you get to the causeway of Isle La Motte (to your right), you will cross the causeway onto the island, finding yourself on the Main Road.


5. Continue on the Main Road for a total of about six miles to Fisk Farm.  Landmarks include the tiny village of Isle La Motte,the Historical Society Building, and Hall’s Apple Orchard. In five miles from the Causeway, the road turns to gravel. Stay on the gravel road. In one mile you will come to Fisk Farm on your right.  Big lawn, locust trees, grey stone and frame buildings.  For our Parking Field go to the second driveway.


1. From Burlington: Take Interstate 89 to Exit 17, the Champlain Islands


2.Follow Route 2 north through the islands to Rt. 129. 

  1. 3.Make a left on 129 and go 2.5 to the Isle La Motte causeway.  Turn right on the causeway. Once on the island you will be on the Main Road.


  1. 4.Continue on the Main Road for a total of about six miles to Fisk Farm.  You will pass such landmarks as the tiny village of Isle La Motte, the Historical Society Building, and Hall’s Apple Orchard.  In five miles from the Causeway, the road turns to gravel.
